We are facing an epidemic of pornography on the web of which the repercussions remain not fully understood. And it is frightening. With the click of a mouse, anyone, at any age, anytime can view porn online.

Governments are still tangled up by the “it’s a free-speech issue” argument. The porn industry has managed to hold onto the theory that porn is victimless entertainment which involves only an individual and the consenting adults who participate. The law has yet to catch up with reality sufficient reason for technology. In a world where anyone can produce and upload porn videos or images, the web has become filled to the brim with hardcore pornography and disturbing content that no one should be exposed to, aside from our children!

A report from the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, N.J.,entitled, “The Social Costs of Pornography” points to new social science and brain research, and finds evidence that pornography causes multifaceted harms and warns that people will pay the price for this.
